As a practicing gastroenterologist for more than two decades, he is an international media expert on the topic of gastroenterology, with an emphasis on gut health. Dr. Nandi has appeared as an expert guest on The Dr. Oz Show, The Doctors, The Katie Couric Show, and Home & Family among others. He's been interviewed by radio show hosts such as Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy. He's appeared on international TV and radio stations airing everywhere from Asia to the Middle East and Africa. Dr. Nandi is the author of several publications in peer-reviewed journals and delivers talks to residents and fellow physicians on medical topics, with an emphasis on gastroenterology. He has partnered with the Ministries of Health in Jamaica and India and collaborated with the World Health Organization on his quest to improve health-care quality, access, and advocacy around the world. A member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association, and the American Society of Gastroenterological Endoscopy, he practices medicine full time and is currently on staff at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Michigan.
